Our Programs in our different sections
1Kindergarten
The kindergarten accompanies the development of young children in French and in English. This practice of the two languages is ensured by the presence in class of two teachers, one French-speaking, the other English-speaking. We welcome children from the age of two.
- The emphasis is on learning through play, singing and various activities, which allow the child to develop his psychomotricity, to open his mind to the world around him and to prepare him for elementary school.
- Introduction to computer programming with a fun and educational approach from the age of 3.
- Kindergarten children come to class Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 12:50 pm. We can offer a daycare service all afternoon at the parents’ request.
2Elementary
The primary school is taught by two teachers, one French-speaking and one English-speaking, who share the schedule equally: two days in French, two days in English, and Wednesdays are bilingual with both teachers present.
- The children follow the Congolese program with the addition of the ASCITECH program which encompasses our five pillars. The priority is to give them an excellent foundation in French, English and math, which are the foundation on which their future education will be built.
- Primary school children are introduced to computer science with the basic modules of the ICDL (International Computer Driving License) and to computer coding with several age-appropriate programming languages as they develop.
- Classes are held Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:10 pm, except on Wednesdays when classes end at 12:30 pm
3Basic education
At the secondary level, the course schedule is divided equally between French and English. Children follow the national curriculum, with the addition of the ASCITECH program which develops the five pillars.
- The school week runs from Monday to Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:10 p.m., except on Wednesdays and Saturdays when classes end at 12:30 p.m.
- The OC years focus primarily on mastering French, English and mathematics, which are essential for success in the following years.
- In addition to these three basic courses, the ASCITECH program includes an advanced computer course, the various modules of which are certified by the ICDL (International Computer Driving License, an international organization for the certification of computer skills).
4Humanities
Starting in the third grade, the humanities offer the following options:
- Science options (Math-Physics and Bio-Chemistry), which are unique in that science courses are taught in English and are allocated more hours than the national curriculum requires, in order to achieve a real mastery of these subjects.
- The electricity and electronics options in which the emphasis is on practical work.
- The business-computer option in which, in addition to learning accounting, taxation and law, students will learn to use specialized software related to their future professions (accounting, inventory management, customer management, etc.)
